Horus is illustrated here seated on a throne. He looks forward in a traditional stiff pose of kingship and holds an ankh, the symbol of life. His throne seat has falcons on each front corner, and on the back, appears a sun disk with wings and cobras referring to Isis and a large Eye of Horus. The throne has an ornamental papyrus pattern and ankh etchings. Horus is painted in elaborate gold and color details with an antique patina to look authentic.

Horus Egyptian Art statue is made from resin and stone, gold and color details, and measures 10 in H x 4 in D x 2.5 in W. Weighs 3 lbs. PN E-178GP.

Horus is the Falcon God Lord of the Sky and symbol of divine kingship. Horus was represented either as a falcon-headed man or as a falcon. The falcon was sacred to Horus from the earliest times and the image of a falcon on its perch became the hieroglyphic symbol representing the word "God". In ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh was seen as a manifestation of the 'living Horus' on the throne of Egypt and each succeeding Pharaoh used the name of Horus as the first of his titles.
