This WWII comic strip book encompasses a series written for GIs to be published in their troop's newspaper. Milton Caniff created these short comic strips to give the GIs something fun to think about. He focused on the appearance of Miss Lace amidst the troops. It was only released to men in uniform during its run but was archived as a complete set in 1945 and reprinted in 1959. This copy is from 1959.
If you know someone who loves to learn about WWII or military history, this would make an unusual gift.
