Two Warriors with Shields and Fallen Hero White Figure Greek Vase 12H

This Greek vase reproduction illustrates a central reclining figure flanked by two approaching hero warriors. The warrior at left has a helmet decorated by a prominent red plume and carries a shield with horse image. The name Hektor appears near him. The central reclining male holds up a vase and dagger in response to the warrior's advance. The name IOLADS appears near him. The third figure is another male warrior with the name ALAS KALOS to his right. His shield has a bird image. He appears to be defending the fallen central figure. An ionic column appears under the handle. On the underside, the artist notes that the vase has the Oinochoe shape after designs circa 430 B.C.

- NOTE: This item has a small white paint streak next to the shield with horse head.
This vase is no longer manufactured. As such, it is a treasure like the famous original. The painted details have a recently unearthed finish. Our vase is already over 20 years old!
