Precolumbian Nose Ornament Necklace with Beads, Assorted Colors
PN# 7963This Precolumbian Necklace has a semicircular central charm which was inspired by a pre-columbian nose ornament (circa 13th-16th Century). Nose ornaments were among the earliest forms of facial ornaments, particularly in Colombia. Museum jewelry replica is adapted from designs and motifs found in museum originals.
The pendant and gold beads are made from 24 Karat gold-plate over pewter. The beads are semi precious stones. Necklace measures 16 inches long.
