Greek Ionic Column Cufflinks
PN# 7802Our museum reproduction of the Ionic Column Cufflinks was inspired by a detail from the exterior of the Museum of Science building in Chicago. It is reminiscent of classical Greek architecture. The cufflink design illustrates the Ionic capital design with two swirling volutes made popular in the Eastern Greek states from ancient times. It is an architectural motif originated by the Greeks but embraced as a beloved design motif in Western architecture from medieval through modern times.
Greek Ionic Column Cufflinks are made from 24 Karat antique gold-plate over pewter/brass. Measures 0.6" x 0.5" each.
