We wanted to share our excitement about the release of the new Famous Art Ceramic Vase collection from Parastone called Silhouette d'Art. These art vases showcase famous artist images on functional ceramic vases. Each vase has an unusual edge shaped to accentuate a design element from the painting. View the new art vase collection below. From left to right: Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, Van Gogh's Irises, Klimt's The Kiss, Hokusai's Flowers, Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Klimt's Woman with Child (Three Ages of Woman), Modigliani's Female, and Monet's Waterlilies.
The vases are produced through a partnership between two European art manufacturers, Parastone and John Beswick ceramic company. The John Beswick ceramic manufacturing dates back to the late 1800’s and is well known for high quality figurines, including famous race horses, cats, dogs, wild animals, and fish. They even produced Disney characters in the early 50’s. They have brought technique and tradition to this new line of vases demonstrating the quality of ceramic work from this European collaboration.
The detail and colors really shine! The unique shape at the top of the Van Gogh Sunflowers (PN# SDA01) vase is traced around the actual lines of the famous artwork. The bright color really gets your attention and gives you a great sense of craftsmanship. This vase in particular is a very functional and ergonomic size of 8.5"H x 2.5" diameter.
The new vase line compliments the rest of the Parastone and John Beswick product categories. They are not only visually stunning but very well priced. This is going to be a great gift for the holidays, and with so many choices you'll have no problem finding the right vase for that special someone!
